Today in all of the common areas of our office space Toronto, people were talking about the fact that the Toronto Argonauts will be the home team in the 100th Grey Cup at the Rogers Centre on November 25th. The most talked about fact was that this is the first time in 30 years that the Argos have played in the annual Grey Cup on home turf and that it has been 60 years since they last won a Grey Cup at home.

This past year when the management at Telsec’s office space Toronto wanted to give away Tickets to the Grey Cup as part of a contest, they sadly found out that the game had been sold out since June, long before anyone knew which teams would be playing.

It was quite interesting to find how many people with Toronto office rentals at Telsec are fans of the Argonauts and the CFL. For many Canadians the Grey Cup game and the week’s celebrations leading up to the game is a bigger event that the Super Bowl or even the Stanley Cup playoffs.

One Toronto office space tenant mentioned that he has attended almost every Grey Cup came in the past 10 years. The only Grey Cup game he missed was the 95th in Toronto back in 2007 and that was because he was stranded in New York City when his car broke down after a trip to see the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with his family. This year he bought his ticket early and will make no plans other than parking his car underground at his Toronto office space and enjoying all the festivities leading up to the 100th Grey Cup game.

We are expecting a lot more talk around our office for rent Toronto about the events leading up to this historic game.

I will leave you with this famous chorus that has been heard around the Canadian football world… Arrrrrrggggooooos!
