While technology cannot replace a Toronto virtual office that has a prestigious business address, it certainly can help make things easier for your business and your life. Sometimes keeping up with technology advances can be a challenge in itself. So to help you out, we will feature some of the top apps and technologies that are either emerging or becoming the most practical.

The other day while walking through the reception area of Telsec’s office space Toronto, I noticed two people bumping their phones together. It seems they were using an app called Bump. With this app it seems that all you need to do is to bump two android smartphones together to share photos, contacts, and even smartphone apps.

Later, when I ran into that Toronto office space client, he told me more about and the fact that you can use Bump to share contact information and photos with business contacts and potential clients by simply bumping two phones together. I knew I had to find out more about this technology.

It seems if you both have the bump app, you just open Bump, hold your phones, and gently bump your hands together. Bump seems to magically do all the rest. What is really interesting is the newest feature on Bump – you can now share (or bump) photos from your smartphone to your computer! The best part is that you do not need to download any software on your computer. You just need go to the bump website on your computer web browser.

While looking into more apps to share with people who have office space downtown Toronto at Telsec, specifically apps that were helpful for business and not just for having fun on your smartphone, I discovered an app called Cozi that works on both Google Android and Apple iOS devices.

The Cozi app provides a shared calendar that’s colour-coded for each member of your small business team. This app is perfect for small business people who work in team space or even independently in various locations using virtual office solutions. With this app you can very quickly browse and see who has what appointments and what time each are meeting with co-workers or managers. The shared shopping list can be used to help when ordering office supplies or with other office needs.
