This week we are addressing some key questions that our Toronto office rental coordinators have been asked. While these are not all of our frequently asked questions, these are some that our staffers answer a great deal when potential tenants visit our Toronto office space.

What does the office rental fee include?

The monthly fee for renting a serviced office includes certain basic facilities and services such as:

  • Receptionist services
  • Personalized Telephone Answering
  • Facsimile (FAX):  No charge for incoming faxes
  • Kitchen facilities
  • Executive boardrooms/meeting rooms
  • Office Furniture
  • Office cleaning
  • 24/7 Access
  • Air-conditioning, heating and lighting
  • Office maintenance services

Normally, the rent does not include the following services, but they are available at a very low cost:

  • Photocopying and printing services
  • Ad-hoc administrative assistance
  • Mail or message management
  • Local Area Network communications
  • High-speed broadband Internet
  • Telephone line
  • Rental of electronic devices such as computers, LCD projectors, etc.
  • IT support and maintenance

What is VoIP Virtual Office Service?

Virtual Office is the term to describe full-service office spaces that clients do not actually occupy, but give their customers the perception that they have a fully equipped office with staff and resources at a prestigious business address. With VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocols) virtual office services, clients are supplied with a special telephone that they can use anywhere in the world and be connected with their office as if they were in the next room! All they need to have is an Internet connection.

What are the sizes of the boardrooms and conference rooms and how many are there?

Telsec has 7 boardrooms and meeting rooms that are set up to accommodate 4 to 8 peoples. There are also seminar and training rooms that can handle up to 50 people.

How much is it to rent boardrooms and meeting rooms?

Boardrooms and meeting rooms are free of charge for Telsec Toronto office-space clients, but boardroom and meeting room availability is on a first-come-first-served basis and prior reservation is mandatory. Telsec Virtual office customers and non-Telsec clients may rent boardrooms and meeting rooms as well. Virtual office clients pay $100 for a full day’s use and $60 for half-day use. Non-Telsec clients pay $160 for the full day and $100 for the half day. The best part is that the coffee, tea and filtered water are all complimentary.

Will my company have its own dedicated telephone number or can I use my current business number?

While both our Toronto virtual office tenants and office space for lease Toronto tenants can be assigned a telephone number that is dedicated to their company, they can also have their existing telephone number connected into our phone system. Their telephone number is for their exclusive use and all incoming calls are answered by our professional receptionist and are handled according to a client’s specific instructions.

Is there a minimum contract period for office space rentals?

As we mentioned in our previous blogs, we offer highly flexible terms. You may lease Toronto office space for 1 year or more or on a month-to-month basis. You can even rent an office for a single day.
